One REMARKABLE thing you can do for your FEAR of FAILURE

Fear of failure?

Yup…that insidious little (or should I say BIG) fear of yours.

It permeates, colours and changes not only how you do EVERYTHING but whether you do ANYTHING you want to do at all.

Wanna write a book? But what if no one buys it? Wanna change your career? But what if you aren’t good enough? Wanna start speaking up more? But what if you say something wrong?

Your fear of failure is the biggest thing holding you back!

Yep, as a fellow human bean, it’s held me back too.

Once you’re aware of this fear (and many people never become so!), most humans try to change things or make compromises so that if said, “failure” were to occur, it wouldn’t feel so bad.

For example,

I’ll only write a short novella instead of the big novel I really want to.

That way, it won’t feel so bad if people don’t want to buy it.

That’s okay. You do half of what you want with half the risk.

HOWEVER,

what I’ve learned in my 7 years as a life coach is that most satisfaction and the biggest life transformations come NOT from making compromises in this way.

Or even, to my more personal development minded people out there, from changing what “failure” itself means to you.

No, the biggest life transformations come from actually CHANGING the WORLD within which you’re living.

What do I mean by that?

I’m not suggesting you have to literally go live on Mars or Venus.

That would be a total bypass and I’m not one to stamp on your possibility but unless you know something I don’t, impossible at this particular moment in time and space.

What I mean is that you can change your personal, intimate, inner world from one that’s predominantly constituted of successes and failures, wins and losses to one that’s constituted of something entirely different.

Now, this is real pause for thought.

If you’re currently making your life predominantly about whether you succeed or fail, win or lose (and let’s face it, that ain’t helping anyone); what would you love to make your life about instead?
